Writing school reports is a hard task which requires much thought if you are truly going to tailor them to the individual pupil. If you leave them to the last minute then you will put yourself under much stress and pressure resulting in mistakes, vagueness and the risk of them being handed back to you – not what you want. To avoid this start early and work towards the deadline step by step by dividing the time remaining by the number of reports you have. For instance if you have sixty reports to do and you have two weeks to do them in, then that’s six to do a day if you don’t want to work at the weekends. Dividing tasks up into smaller chunks is a useful technique that will really help you work more effectively and avoid last minute panic.
